Laser engraving services
Permanent, dimensional decoration for drinkware, tools, awards, and leather goods. The premium feel for hard goods + executive gifts.
Laser engraving turns a substrate into the decoration - the design is burned, etched, or vaporized into the surface. Permanent, premium, dishwasher-safe.
What it's best for
- Insulated drinkware. The premium decoration choice for stainless tumblers + bottles. Dishwasher-safe permanent etch.
- Executive awards. Crystal, glass, acrylic, wood plaques - laser engraves with photographic detail.
- Leather goods. Portfolios, journals, wallets, keychains - leather burns into a beautiful contrast.
- Tools + work gear. Multi-tools, knives, flashlights, branded gear that needs a permanent mark.
- Wood goods. Cutting boards, charcuterie boards, branded coasters.
- Premium pens. Metal-barrel pens look way better engraved than printed.
What it's NOT best for
- Apparel. Use screen print, embroidery, DTF, or heat transfer.
- Plastic items. Laser can melt or discolor cheap plastic. Use pad print or UV print instead.
- Photographic full-color artwork. Laser is mono-tone (the natural substrate color contrast). Use full-color UV print for photos.
- Very fine + small artwork. Laser detail is excellent but tiny text under ~5pt blurs.

Common questions
What's the difference between laser engraving and laser etching?
Engraving cuts into the surface (deeper, more dimensional). Etching marks the surface (faster, shallower, less wear-resistant). We use the right depth for the substrate + design.
Will the engraving fade?
No - it's permanent. The substrate is altered, not coated. Dishwasher-safe on stainless drinkware.
Can you engrave individual names?
Yes - per-piece variable engraving for awards, employee gifts, executive kits. Slight setup uplift for variable data, but doable.
Photo-real engraving on stainless?
Possible at high resolution on certain substrates - works best on coated stainless (e.g. powder-coated tumblers). We'll proof it before production.
